The depth, breadth and indeed complexity of Taoist Meditation is so vast that it can present a barrier to people getting started, especially for those who are compromised in some way from stress, tension, and physical, emotional and/or mental trauma.
From a Taoist perspective, everything that happens to you in this life is stored in your physical body. For this reason and in order to maintain good health, heal and become a stronger, more resilient human being, you must actively release the energies that have become bound and stuck within you.
First you must become aware of what is inside you, so you can release all that is false, untrue, not really you, and become the free and awake human being you are meant to be.
 
    
  
  Water Method meditation practices have been passed down by Taoists for 4,000 years. Paul Cavel has studied under his primary teacher, Taoist Lineage Holder Bruce Frantzis, since 1992 and taught the Water Method since 1995.
