Taoist Neigong &
Energy Gates Qigong
2026 June 13-14
Taoist Neigong and Energy Gates Qigong are two levels of Water Element practice. Both focus on the horizontal plane of motion to develop the ability to let go of tension, and reduce physical, energetic and emotional blockages through the core exercises of:
- Standing Qigong
- Cloud Hands
- Swings
- Sinking Qi.
These essential component practices set the foundation for all Water Method arts training, including spinal techniques, Spiraling Energy Body Qigong, tai chi and bagua.
Spinal Qigong
2026 October 24-25
The neigong system includes many techniques for working with the spine, each with incredible healing potential, but all of them require the practitioner to feel, move and control their spine with ever-increasing finesse.
There's a little bit of effort required in the beginning stages, but if you learn and practise the methodology, you can unlock years of tension and bound energies in your spine, spinal cord, nerves and surrounding soft tissues.

Circle Walking with
Energy Postures
2026 June 15-16 & October 26-27
Walking is a natural part of the human condition and an excellent form of exercise to keep the body and mind fit, healthy and supple. Neigong-infused walking dramatically increases all the benefits that walking offers by targeting internal systems in the body. Likewise, walking supercharges neigong techniques learned through qigong practice. Together, walking in a circle with neigong techniques creates an energy vortex, where blockages and traumas can more easily be brought up and released.
Paul will teach walking techniques, incorporating aspects of both tai chi and bagua, to soften, release and open the body in order to:
- Release the nerves and accumulated tension.
- Increase blood circulation by activating the vascular system.
- Increase strength and flexibility.
- Cultivate qi (life-force energy).
- Generate aerobic exercise for fitness — something most qigong and tai chi forms alone cannot offer.
